Simraceway – Renault 5 Turbo & Mitsubishi Lancer VIII

Simraceway has added yet another two more vehicles to the constantly expanding list of cars available for free and also for purchase by those currently playing the free to play game undergoing development in the open beta stage. The latest additions to the game include the Renault 5 Turbo and the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII.

Developed for the dirt, the Renault 5 Turbo was brought to life primarily to take back Renault’s rallying primacy from Lancia, whose purpose-built Stratos had left its WRC representatives, the Alpine A110 and Renault 17 Gordini , choking in its dust in the mid-1970s.

Although Mitsubishi was forced to downgrade some of its features in order to comply with US emissions and safety laws, the Evo VIII retained its turbocharged two-liter inline four-cylinder engine and full-time all-wheel-drive powertrain. This high-performance MR model, which was introduced to North America in 2005, also sports the 17-inch BBS alloys, slick-response Bilstein shocks, and six-speed manual gearbox found on its peers in other markets around the world.

You can purchase the Renault 5 Turbo today for  $0.45 and the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII for only $0.30, just click the links below.
