SimBin Announce Mount Panorama Bathurst License

Recently i covered the topic of Mount Panorama Bathurst possibly making its way into a future SimBin project as a small teaser image was released of the track with the caption “Yes!”

Since then no information has been released until now by SimBin officially announcing the licensing for the legendary Bathurst circuit. At this time it’s again unknown what project this is for all we know is from a statement released today that when the team started this project they aimed to bring certain tracks to the title and that has now happened.

When we started this project we decided that we should try and get certain tracks in the game, tracks we love to see racing on, known or unknown, modern or classic, circuits we have never done before, and we would really like to do.

So we set our goals out to get these track in, and we are very proud to tell you guys that we have licensed the Bathurst – Mount Panorama circuit.

First opened on 17th April 1938 Mount Panorama Bathurst is 6.231 km in length with a total of 23 turns. The circuit plays host to various famous events including the Bathurst 1000 and Bathurst 12 hour.
