With the open beta of rFactor 2 under constant development community members have been busy getting used to the new environment especially those who enjoy to create content for us to download and enjoy. Ethone has been doing just that as he releases his Fuji Speedway 2012 for the sim.
The track was created back in 2007 for rFactor by Ethone which he has now converted over to rFactor 2 and update various things including the addition of animated marshals, trackside objects along with tweaks to fit in with the new rFactor 2 system.
While the Speedway was originally built for rF1 back in 2007, it has been updated with a lot of new trackside objects that newer computers can now handle. In the pits area you will notice pit perches complete with monitors and seats for the imaginary team managers. The number of perches increases the more cars are entered in a race with one perch per team. Above the garages the pit building is modeled in some detail including TV screens mounted for the VIP spectators. During test days and practice sessions you will also be able to see belt barriers demarcating the garage openings.
