iRacing – Ruf Rt 12 R Licensing Announced

iRacing fans will be very happy with the latest information Steve Myers Executive Vice President and Executive Producer at has released today. The latest licensing deal for iRacing has been announced as the Ruf Rt 12 R .

RUF proudly presented the all new Rt 12 R at the 2011 Geneva International Motorshow. The 3.8 litre bi-turbo boxer engine delivers 537 kW (730 bhp) of power with a maximum torque figure of 940 Nm. A six speed manual gearbox deals with the power transmission and the 4WD system ensures optimal traction under all driving conditions. Rear wheel drive can be ordered as an option for the brave.

Along with this Steve answered a few questions on twitter one of which detailed that the car will be created in RWD mode and is in line to be released after the McLaren MP4-12C which also announced tonight that an iRacing engineer is currently in England gathering data for the car ahead of its introduction into iRacing.
