iRacing Community – FIA Timing System Replica Released

iRacing community member and Falcon-GP founder Marcel Wiemers has released the first version of his iRacing timing monitor system, a replica of the real world pit wall monitoring system used in race series such as FIA GT and Formula One.

The system has been in development for more than 6 months and is finally stable and useable for Marcel to release his first version to the iRacing community. The system already covers many of the data aspects provided in the real life systems. The project is still under development and its said that it will continue until the very last real world feature is added to the already awesome timing system.

Marcel has already begun work on version 2.0 which will feature a completely new system to iRacing, a life car track map system showing real-time car positions of all cars on track.
