GTR 3 – Using the Tesla Roadster for Sound Recording

SimBin has updated they’re Simbin Insider blog with a very interesting article regarding the capture of crucial audio for their upcoming title GTR 3. The team revealed to the community about how they use the Tesla Roadster to record crucial sounds due to the car making no engine noise.

In the winter Simon from SimBin borrowed the Tesla Roadster Sport and drove around streets looking for bumps and potholes to record the right sounds needed for the suspension and tires. They also drove at different speeds to capture the correct wind noise. Sound capturing with the Tesla Roadster Sport also involved doing several burnouts to record the best tire sounds.
