Fanaleds Version 0.3 Released with Support for 10 Different Games

Some of you might have heard of Fanaleds before from such places as the Fanatec Blog, the revolutionary plugin for owners of Fanatec wheels takes full use of the LED displays on the wheel which never really had a true purpose within games before.

Now with Fanaleds you can have a fully working display on your Fanatec Wheel thanks to developers Gerben Bol and Dirk Teurlings who have been working hard on the plugin for the past few months to bring out version 0.3.

The latest version of the plugin brings support to 10 various racing titles. In the future rFactor 2 will be supported in the plugins version 0.4 and is also likely to offer some sort of user interface.

Supported Games

  • Live for Speed
  • F1 2011
  • DiRT2
  • DiRT3
  • DiRT Showdown
  • iRacing
  • rFactor
  • Game Stock Car
  • GTR 2
  • GTR Evolution
  • Race Injection
  • Race 07
  • STCC 2
  • Rigs of Rods (No revled support)

Fanaleds is able to show all kinds of information on your Fanatec wheel including speed, fuel and the gear you’re in. But the function that we’re most proud of is the Speedgear mode. This mode combines the best of the speed and gear mode. Mainly your speed is shown until you reach the max RPM. When that happens the display will indicate you have to shift up and shows your gear. Also when you manually shift up or down your current gear will be shown for a short time.

On the new website designed specifically for Fanaleds you will find the latest release, answers to your questions and an option to contact them. Feel free to visit http://fanaleds.idrift.nl/ to try Fanaleds out for yourself!
