Derek Speare Designs – Data Display Unit For iRacing Information

Derek Speare Designs has announced exclusively on the iRacing forums a new development project that will satisfy the needs of those sim racers who want to monitor critical engine and other data on a separate screen.

With the iRacing Data Display Unit, iRDDU for short it will give users the chance to monitor those vital statistics on their virtual race car from any monitor through this unique system announced by Derek Speare Designs and developed by Paul Thurstone who developed GEM+ for Grand Prix Legends which was used at its height by more than 10,000 users; and the price of this excellent system FREE!

However through a new funding program setup to generate funds to pay for the programmers who are creating this neat piece of software you can donate specific amounts and in return receive special perks such as receiving the software early or even having your logo featured in the software.

What Does Contributing Do?

Our contributors will receive our gratitude and know that they have made a valuable program a reality.  Those who contribute at various levels will receive certain benefits:

  • A 10 dollar contribution will earn our love and admiration and allow you to sleep soundly knowing that you will soon be receiving a link to download the iRDDU program AHEAD of the official release;
  • A 65 dollar contribution will enroll you into the official beta testing program;
  • For 500 dollars you will become one of our “Corporate Benefactors” and for that we will prominently display your logo on the iRDDU screen so others using the program will know that you support their efforts.
