C.A.R.S- Ben Collins impressed

Race driver and Ex Stig, Ben collins who recently joined WMD powered C.A.R.S project last month has compared the Sim to a professional driving simulator.

Ben Collins recently joined team working on C.A.R.S and works as a Physics & Handling Consultant on the team recently said he was impressed with what the early builds have shown.

Despite still being in pre-alpha stage, Collins compares the driving experience in C.A.R.S. to that in multi-million dollar professional-grade simulators that are used by Formula One outfits and race car manufacturers:

So far my impression of this sim is that the physics are very similar to the Le Mans / F1 simulator we’ve been using this year at Wirth Research for the Le Mans Series, which is very impressive,” Collins commented.

The graphics are mega and track realism is extremely close for such an early stage in development. If this is the early stages the end result could be stunning.”
