BeamNG Physics System Update – New Torque3D World Preview
BeamNG has released a new video showing off the work they have put in over the past few months to polish and improve the physics code of their revolutionary soft body physics system that has caught our eye many times over the past few months.
Some of the work on the physics system included creating a proper middleware physics engine to make it easily portable between different game engines. Towards that front, the new middleware physics engine has been ported to a new game engine – Torque3D, which has proved to be a perfect fit for how we’d like to proceed with our physics technology here at BeamNG.
The team is currently working hard to create a new game called Torque3D using their revolutionary physics technology, an announcement about this is said to be expected within the next few weeks.
