Assetto Corsa – New Trailer Reveals Ferrari License

Well the wait is over as the mystery photo released along with the statement from Kunos Simulazioni currently developing Assetto Corsa revealed that at 8pm GMT the end of the world as we know it would happen and that surprise is now out.

The team has released a new trailer for Assetto Corsa showing un-edited footage from the game. The special part is that the trailer showing off the circuit of Monza reveals that they have acquired a license to have Ferrari in the title. The trailer shows off the Ferrari 458 Italia in stunning detail.

Assetto Corsa will feature five iconic Ferrari’s as part of this new license including a selection of Ferrari models to excite all generations of fans of the “Rossa”; from the powerful current range, equipped with the latest technological innovations, to the most legendary and unforgettable models, for anyone who loves the thrill of racing.

  • I hate to be Mr. Negative Nancy, but this is BAD news IMHO. Every time a company gets a Ferrari license, they are very hamstrung in what they can do. There will be a very weak damage model, and Ferrari will have the final say on how the car drives. It’s impossible to separate Ferrari and racing, of course, but now AC has someone other than Kunos pulling the strings.

    • Kunos has already done a very realistic Ferrari proper simulation with the “Ferrari Virtual Academy”.

      GT5 simulates the 458 extremely well

      Not sure about the damage though, that will anyway not be in the first few versions of AC
