Assetto Corsa – Lotus Cars Licensing Officially Announced

Kunos Simulazioni has announced the latest of licensing deal for their current title in development Assetto Corsa with the latest licensing deal coming from the legendary Lotus Cars creator of various classic to modern racing and road cars.

The Kunos Simulazioni team recently took a visit to the headquarters of Lotus Cars in the UK providing them with a unique occasion to test out the various Lotus cars on the dedicated Lotus Test track. Marco Massarutto, Licensing&Project manager of Kunos Simulazioni, has commented:

Lotus Cars total support to our team, gives us the possibility to express our potential at its best and this is priceless. Having the opportunity to drive those cars on track, study their handling and characteristics and talk with the engineers of one of the most advanced R&D department in automotive world, makes us feel honoured, humbled and even more determined to raise the realism level of our racing simulator in order to do justice to the excellence of Lotus engineering.

So far no list of cars that will come as part of the Lotus Cars licensing agreement has been announced however from the screenshots below we know that the following cars will be available as part of this agreement.

  • Evora S
  • Lotus 2-Eleven GT4
  • Lotus 2-Eleven
  • Lotus Evora GTE

Update: We have just been notified by Marco Massarutto that they have licensing for the full Lotus Cars brand so this means we could see any of the cars made by Lotus Cars
